On August 18th, 2010, SparkPlay Media, the owner of Earth Eternal Reborn's father game (Earth Eternal), announced that it was probably going to announce bankruptcy and was in the process of an auction for Earth Eternal. Thus, the Credit system (pay-for-items) was shut down and those items were made avaliable to all players free of cost. Later, SparkPlay Media announced that unless bought in the auction, the MMORPG would be shut down by the webhost. It was then bought in an auction by a japanese game company called Sankando on August 31st, 2010. On July 26th, 2011, Earth Eternal Reborn: Beta was opened to American and Japanese gamers. Beta characters will be wiped, but rewards are given to all characters of a Beta tester. If a character reaches level 30, they will obtain "heroic" Beta rewards, which have not been specified. Sankando targeted a release of Summer 2011, which has obviously expired. A new target has not been released.
